Belly dance in Egypt

I am not a belly dancer. I just like to watch it. By Islam it is not allowed to dance in public in front of men. Thats why Egyptians do not consider it a respectable proffession. So if you will ask any Egyptian man, would he allow his wife or daughter to dance publicly, most likely his answer will be - no, never. But still most of Egyptian women and girls can dance, but they do it at home in front of their husbands or on family parties or in front of women only.
